What exactly does full-service interior design mean?

Full-service is when we undertake the entire responsibilities from the designing stage to the very last installation stages. Which means we handle everything from selection of furniture, material, colours, etc; procuring, coordination etc. It could be for the entire home and all the rooms, or partial, or even one room. For clients who cannot be present at site, such as NRIs, this works very well. Of course, we would be sharing all details with them for approval.

We have many clients who prefer to work phase by phase. It could be for economic reasons, or travel schedules, or children’s exams, etc. They tend to use the same agency each time, since the concepts and creative aspects will be in sync and not vary.

Do you offer custom options, and do I have to go fully custom?

One of the reasons we are very popular is that we are totally flexible in catering to client requirements. You have the option to have us customize just a few items. Whether is it a piece of furniture, or drapery or upholstery, etc. You could also use our own make furniture or from the market. We of course will ensure that everything is well matched and coordinated.

How long will it take?

Every work that we undertake is unique. There is no standard time. A work may take a short time or long. The scope of work can be anywhere between 6 to 8 weeks. If the work is for several rooms, it may take longer. Our aim at 8 Square would be to deliver on-time. Yes, wherever possible we can do a rush job too. With no compromise on quality, we assure you.

Can I use my existing furniture?

We would say you must. Having an interior design service does not mean you get rid of your favourite furniture. We will blend it beautifully with the new concept. But yes, if something doesn’t really fit in, we would inform you so that you can decide to use it elsewhere, etc. Our aim is to make your home beautiful, not mar it with something totally out of place, isn’t it?
